ok first things first

RESOURCE OR INDUSTRIAL ???????????????
Now here the thing, I didn't want to spend too much time on this so I just picked the obvious resource market. But wasn't the question a farmer SELLING wheat? So that means his target market would be the industrial market right??????

Pretty good exam, b6 cutoff will be about 84
I agree - was definitely more time pressured then other papers, and the few big questions would have definitely thrown a fair amount of people off.

SR cutoff? I feel it will be 96 raw, maybe 95 raw if we're lucky

didn't see anything about wheat?

bottom line is if it's stuff that he's harvested it's resource, otherwise its industrial

we'll just have till someone posts a copy of the paper to check

Can you do calculations that are in the hundred thousands in your head? I'm going to guess NOT.

I can't wait to see your result band6man.

My student said she thinks she got 95+ raw
I think I got 95+ raw as well

going out of the exam, maybe I will only get 18/20 for section 4 (did the finance one though, which I think will align wayyyy better plus it was more interesting), but other than that I made it really, really hard for markers to take marks off.

*also the one multiple choice with the farmer, I said resource so we'll see - that does seem to be the general consensus though

Did you smash it or what swagmeister :D? EDIT: Looks like you did 95+ hope you state rank.

I swear I never can tell if my answer is long enough / ticks off enough boxes for those 6 markers. Especially because there's never many lines.

Yes I actually struggle at simple calculations in my head, not even joking. How did you do the total market share question thingo though without a calculator??

Yeah, I used an extra writing space for every single short answer part except for 2 marks of the 40 marks haha. Literally used 8 full pages of extra writing space just for short answers. The final 6 marker I did a page and a half extra just to make sure I nailed the marks.

But yeah, hoping to smash it, we'll see.

I wrote 15 pages for section 4, 13 for section 3. Bearing in mind that I used indented margins though, it would be more like 12 pages and 11 pages.

Did the finance extended response, I just focused on cash flow as well as global stuff but went pretty deep - even got to speak extremely briefly on swap contracts which was sick. Plus it should align well so we'll see.

you just simplify all of them down to small fractions and then convert to decimal, I thought it was common sense

Well sorry but 140000/1050000 or whatever is not a simple calculation for me. Anyway, with a calculator it's fast more efficient thus better than using your head which may result in human errors.
