its better to put it in surds, than decimal points

Yeah, it's pretty much always expected to put your answer in exact form unless otherwise specified

Oh, I certainly hope one of these messy surds appears in my 2u exam, that way, I can bash through the definite integral problem faster than the speed of light (not really but y'know) and everyone else is left in the dust.

It's not like a parallel universe could exist where you drop 4U anyways lol, so it matters not :)
