thought SSAF you don't defer through HECS only the course is deferred?

Only applies to full fee domestic students and kiwi students it seems.

Used to be a UNSW student

You can either defer it like you do with HECS through SA-HELP I think that might just be a part of your usual online HECS application. (I'm a kiwi citizen - so I don't know the exact way to defer it for citizens - mine was a paper form).

Or

You pay it up front.

It's payable before the census date (just look it up to confirm).

Have you seen the SA-HELP form at all? If not then you haven't deferred it and will have to pay upfront by the end of the census date. I'd go to FM assist to ask where to pay.

When you enrol the form for HECS would've been seperate to the form to defer the SSAF so maybe you just missed it. You can pay it up front or defer it along with your course fees, up to you. Just make sure you pay or defer before the census date.

You just pay $145 instead of the total - there should be a button on that page to allow you to pay.

You should be allowed to manually enter how much you want to pay.

As usual, if you have applied for HECS, that will disappear after the census date.
