What topics would you have had to cover in order to be competent enough to do projectile motion and simple harmonic motion. Eg. differentiation, integration...

well I can't recall everything at the top of my head, but for Projectile:

Calculus stuff (diff and int)
Quadratic equations (cos you're dealing with parabolic curves)
trig stuff

trig functions
all the basic trig stuff

Mostly calculus. It helps to understand the relationship between displacement, velocity and acceleration but its not necessary
