Person I know of came last and near to last in every 2U maths assessment task and was ranked near last in a cohort of 150 maths students. However in year 12 he worked really hard for 2U and managed to get a state rank in the top 10.

Discipline beats motivation.

Discipline is for yourself and it is forever-lasting. Motivation is temporary. So get a fucking move on.

A person who smoked 50 weeds in one day, I saw so I know this, and then did that daily, and then snorted 2 cokes on every other day, went into hospital on the 45th day of this, at this point he was last in the grade, he was getting many n-awards and many z-awards. then he woke up and it was real wakeup call for him, he completely changed his life around and he graduated 2nd in the whole grade after cutting the weeds out of his life.

Dont be a little shit and look for motivation from bored of studies. You're studying for your future, so the motivation is clear enough, you just need to search for it in yourself.

Only because its 2U? Just because its 2U, it doesn't mean the amount of hard work and discipline isn't valid to the point where that individual improved from nearly last to being one of the top in the state.

Don't undermine someone's amazing efforts just because its a subject you look down at. Their hard work and amazing turn in events is probably a lot more amazing than anything you'll do with that shitty and arrogant attitude.

So is a lot of subjects in my eyes, I have to admit, I don't see subjects like CAFs, Hospo or Society & Culture as great subjects, but if an individual works really hard to overcome their own limitations or just does really well with their hard work, talent and/or discipline, then its something worth applauding and it would be right for me to put aside my prejudice against subjects.

Have you ever lost motivation in your HSC

I never was lol, it's just 2U isn't interesting (in that sense for me), for me I'm into the high scaling fun subjects and not so much the subjects I hate to death (e.g. Humanities, exonomics, legal, business, history, geography)

Well, it's hard to motivate me, at times motivational stories do work and at times they don't. Just depends on the story
