Lol, but how competitive are your subjects? I'm assuming you go to SBHS, so even if you have low ranks, your subjects might be competitive? Provide % so we have a better idea! :)

Most likely he/she is ranked substantially below the top kids who I assume are getting like 95%+ averages and this could end up squashing down his HSC internal mark. I might be wrong though, thats why we need the percentages.

Without the percentages ill say 82.

What do you mean by percentages? Raw exam percentages or report marks?

High 70s-low 80s :/ You can definitely improve though! How did your trials go?

Some of the estimates given in this thread are way too harsh. Judging by ranks, course enrolments, etc. I'm quite sure I know what school OP goes to, and looking at the past HSC stats of this particular school, OP still is on course to (albeit barely) scrape a B6 in 2U Maths and an E4 in 3U English. I'd say that OP will most likely get ~ low 90s, with high 80s at the very minimum. To get 80 ATAR and under, ranks would have to be exceptionally bad.

Since its a top 5-10 school you are still looking at mid to high band 5's for most subjects...which can defs get you 90+ atar
