Standard v. Advanced English for an 80+ ATAR? (2 Viewers)

I am currently in year 11 and have to choose my subjects for year 12 next year. After school I hope to study Psychology at the University of Melbourne which requires a 80+ ATAR.
I plan on taking Legal studies, biology, modern history, drama and general maths next year however I dont know whether I should stay in Advanced English or go to standard. Is an 80 ATAR possible with my current subjects and standard english?

You'd be better of staying in Advanced as the difficulty is similar to Standard, but the aligning is a lot better.

Basically what Blit said ^

Only difference is Advanced does Shakespeare but Standard doesn't (you might do the tempest for AOS if you're in standard though)

I recommend Advanced, who knows you might actually end up going really well and scoring 90+
