I didn't really do well internally, so I'm relying on HSC to pull shit up. This year hasn't been the brightest for me so please refrain from such comments because I'M AWARE theyre terrible.

We both go to a #380 ranked school, our dux last year got 96 and we only had I think 6 band 6's last year.

I'm going by rank / trial mark / and internal mark

Advanced English: Ranks: 7/20, Trial: 62%, Internal: 71%
Extension English 1: Ranks: 3/4, Trial: 59%, Internal: 63%
Extension English 2: Ranks: 2/4, Trial: 70% (idk how this works but overall I got 70%)
General Maths: Ranks: 12/43, Trial: 60% (yikes) and Internal: 63%
Biology: Ranks: 8/36, Trial: 70%, Internal: 70%
Business: Ranks: 4/32, Trial: 73%, Internal: 75%

I put my marks already in a calculator and I got a really low rank which was pretty soul crushing, I was wondering if doing well in externals would bump my rank to atleast 70-ish atar? Like I'm confident I can can 80 in Biology and Business, and definitely 85-90+ for maths. English however I reckon it may plateau in the B4 region, depending how much I practice on speed. Also I'm pretty confident in snagging a high E3 atleast for my major.

My friend has been a lazy piece of shit too, but again don't roast his ranks :tongue2: wasn't our brightest year together.

Advanced English: Ranks: 13/20, Trials: 64%, Internal: 65%
2U: Ranks: 4/14, Trials: 67%, Internal: 65%
Extension Maths: Ranks: 6/7, Trial: 50%, Internal: 56%
Biology: Ranks: 6/36, Trial: 67%, Internal: 76%
Physics: Ranks: 9/11, Trial: 39%, Internal: 59%
Chemistry: Ranks: 10/18, Trial: 59%, Internal: 64%

Hmm...the Business rank is decent but the correlated raw internal mark is a bit worrying. No idea how to estimate ATARs though, so...

BUMP!

Around 70.5 for you,

Friend 75.25

Kinda hard to make out what his physics results mean... did he have a bad day on the tests or something? Is his class also like that with those sorts of physics discrepancies with the trials and assessment results?

Highest Physics Mark was around 88-89 I think, however there's a major range between the marks. Physics isn't his strongest but he did well in his previous assessment (I think 86-88%)
