so for some reason i was extremely surprised that this was happening so early, for some reason I thought it'd be later on in the year

I have no idea wtf I'm suppose to be doing

the new comp core courses are here and say they're proposed for 2017 http://webapps.cse.unsw.edu.au/cse/core/

yet the handbook 2017 doesn't have them as core (but I really want to do the new courses...)

fyi u follow the handbook in the year u started,

e.g they added a new core course in education from 2016 but since im already far past that I dont need to do it

They're gonna remove those courses and replace them with other courses.

Flop it's best to ask the comp sci office before they screw you over like the mech school did to me :c

I'm not in uni yet but just wondering, is Lab -> like for the science pracs, laboratory? How does actuarial studies have lab work?

It used to be called COMP2911 Design in Computing not it's called COMP2511 OOD and programming. Look at the handbook records literally the exact same content

computer lab

yeah this where you usually work on the computer parts of your project. So math would be like maple/matlab, mech would be ansys/solidworks mtrn would be vs/simulink tc

My lab is for actuarial. I believe for 2111 we are learning excel.

For 1101 we learnt R
