Can I get a good ATAR without maths? (1 Viewer)

I was wondering whether not doing maths was going to make it especially hard for me to receive a good ATAR. The way I see it, I'd do so bad in maths that it wouldn't even be counted towards my ATAR.

Doesn't that change this year? I'm not up to date on news but I heard Numeracy was compulsory rather than English.

Omg, if Maths gets made compulsory to go on my ATAR, I'm so screwed. But thing is, a couple of my mates dropped maths in Year 11, can they really make them pick it back up to get an ATAR?

I'm pretty sure its 2018ers, legally its impossible to make students do math hsc if they didn't do the prelim course.
