If mod (z1+z2) = mod(z1) + mod(z2), show algebraically that arg(z1) = arg(z2). (3 marks)

I was thinking doing like arg(z1) - arg(z2) = 0
arg(z1/z2) = 0 but not sure if it even does anything.

Ugh. Scratch that I have no idea what I was thinking there with the geometry. Probably cause I only thought of arg(z)=0, pi

squaring real and imaginary parts and using trig identity for we get

which means with the similar argument we get
