I've heard Sydney uni isn't very lenient in lowering their requirements for law. A family friend applied to the same course with an ATAR of 99.30 and didn't get in last year, which is higher than mine.

I took the LAT at UNSW, so hopefully I can get into their program and transfer over to uSyd.

I'm pretty confident with how I went in the LAT, so here's hoping

Admittedly, I was annoyed with my ATAR earlier, but my mum yelled at me to stop 'acting pathetic and feeling sorry for myself when I should be proud' and reminded me that there's always different routes to get to where you want to be.

Same ATAR here! Sad to know that one or two multiple choice questions ended up being the difference between $40k and nothing, but I'm incredibly happy nonetheless.

Exactly right - If atar notes was anything to go by, a 15/20 in my economics multiple choice really got me by the balls.

Got a 83, pretty disappointing but considering my schools probably ranked horribly and a bunch got band 1s, low e1s, in my subjects etc. I didnt mind it.


Also got into my first pref today and already accepted so dont really give a damn anymore


not getting a band 6 in english was probably much more disappointing then my ATAR though, and I'm sure its because my story was legitmately a band 3 level. I got stressed out as the stimulus didnt fit me at all and my on spot creative skills havent been good for a while :l.

The most annoying thing about it is, according to my teachers you basically got fucked over if you actually read the question, the question clearly states to use one of the stimulus as a KEY LOCATION, yet apparently that went out the window at marking centres and you were allowed to use it as a metaphor?! (and let me guess why.. Because probably half the decent creatives did as thats how its always been rather than how they wrote the q this time)
