I don't get rivalaries in the A League tbh. The League is only 12 years old.

Mariners have made some good signings this transfer window.


Tom Hiariej - experienced midfielder at 30 with a few years left with Eredivise experience, should be key to the team
Alan Baro - handy signing, got Man of the Match in the Grand Final last year
Golec isn't that exciting of a signing, should be handy, squad player/rotation maybe
Hoole should be handy as well. Probable starter

Haha for me it's mainly proximity and how much I am inundated with WSW as I live in Western Syd. I think the worst thing of all is when people refer to SFC as ESFC... like no lol I don't even understand.

Hoole omg hahaha he was one of my friends' faaaave players when he was with us, got his name on a jersey and everything. Too bad he left. I really hope Mariners raise the bar this season as well, I love going up there and to Newcastle for away games.
