The interval AB has end-points A(-2,3) and B(10,11). Find the coordinates of the point P which divides the interval AB in the ratio 3:1.
I got (16,15) externally, but the answer given says P(11,9.5). I think I'm correct since some people in my class were talking about this question too and what they got, and I think the teacher said that the answer is (16,15), but I wasn't listening to the whole discussion, so I want to be sure.
