First few M/C ADADA... Exam was fairly difficult, but the 7/5/4 markers were not too bad. Last question in Shipwrecks was abysmal, i mean Volta and Davy in regards to improving ocean going vessels to corrosion? Come on

I agree I found this paper pretty hard but industrial was easy just hoping that we didn't have to talk about all three processes in the last question

I didn’t find it very difficult apart from a few multiple choice questions which were harder. I only had trouble on that heat of combustion question, other questions were all quite straightforward. Hoping for 90+ raw

Wow!

Straight forward AF.

7 marker on Haber zzz

Was hoping for something a little different this year, but pretty much a stock, standard paper.

For that question I could only think of mentioning temperature, pressure and catalyst. I had a huge mind blank and couldn't think of anything else to talk about (like the 3:1 ratio, monitoring impurities etc) hopefully I don't lose too many marks for that since it was out of 7 :/

I thought the heat of combustion was good, you just had to get the balanced equation for combustion of ethanol then convert 1kg of CO2 to moles then use the stoichiometric ratio of CO2 to ethanol to get moles of ethanol, then use 1360 X moles ethanol to get answer

Yeah I wrote out the equation, but wrote some bs working after that because I hadn't really come across any similar question to that, probably should've spent some more time on chemistry instead of the whole week before on physics lol

How many did you talk about? i thought u had to talk about 3 since it wanted improvements due to tech.

i spoke about all three?? bc essentially the membrane process was the end product of trying to reduce environmental and technical problems

Which MCQ do you guys have questions about?

I don't really see anything that's all that tricky
