99.80 ATAR James Ruse English + LAT Tutoring (Year 7-12)
Hi, I'm Rayan, a James Ruse graduate (2017) who achieved an ATAR of 99.80 and was ranked top 10 internally for Advanced English (4th), Chem (7th) , Bio (9th), Modern History (2nd) and Mathematics (9th), with final marks of 96 for each subject except Maths (97). I also received a perfect score of 100 in the LAT in 2017 and offer tutoring for the LAT. I am currently completing a Masters of Organisational Psychology and have 5 years of tutoring experience.
I'm currently taking Year 7-12 students for English tutoring. I charge $60/hr and tutor online through Zoom/Skype.
My tutoring approach is highly collaborative for drafting adaptable essays that will perform exceptionally well in an exam scenario. I focus on getting students to be comfortable in adapting to exam questions (the weakest area for most students). I also specialise in comprehension and creative writing. I will help develop your writing skills until getting a top band mark is a regular occurrence. I also have no problem helping with any other assignments (eg speeches or otherwise). My Year 11 and 12 students from 2018 have excelled and improved, if needed I can send a sample before/after of a creative or essay, so you can see the results.

I place a very large emphasis on writing structure and honing your own ability to adapt creatives/essays in exam situations (most students have this as a weak point). Another obvious focus is helping you get through the new syllabus
