Are courses at USYD genrally harder than UNSW? (1 Viewer)

Hi there ive heard that degrees at USYD tend to be rather harder than UNSW? eg commerce at usyd is harder than unsw- is this true?

The perception of hardness or easiness of a subject is a very individual issue.

Even if 2 unis had very similar courses on accounting, one might have a bit more maths or one might have a few more essays. If you are good maths, you will say the essay one is harder.

One might have 9 am lectures, and the other 2 pm, and you are a morning person.

But yes, on average it seems to be easier to get higher marks at UNSW compared to USYD but dw about this cos employers know about this and the difference between a 79 and a 75 is pretty minimal, your work experience will be more important than an extra few headline marks.

One might have 9 am lectures, and the other 2 pm, and you are a morning person.
I get what you're trying to say, but this is a terrible example given that lectures are recorded and that for someone coming straight from school they're used to their day starting at 9am for the last 13 consecutive years...

pretty sure median atars are typically higher at usyd than unsw for most courses except maybe engo

only real metric available
