Has anyone done a final exam in a lecture theatre before?! What is it like, a bit nervous.

It wasn't too bad. Just a little tricky juggling lots of different papers on one small desk. My best advice is to sit next to someone who doesn't take up much space. Last time I did one in a lecture theatre I sat next to a pretty big dude and its just a lot less comfortable.

Depends on the lecture room, some are okay. If taking it in the Lotus Theatre/ some others be careful as the desks are not very stable. Probably easiest to sit right at the front, so you are not disturbed by other people trying to leave/climbing over you.

Feel like i failed econ204 and afin270... I wouldn't be surprised if I have to take either of them again. Had a horrible sem motivation wise

Hey all done guys I reckon 2HD/2D or 3HD/1D. This sem was pretty rough definitely the hardest I've worked. Lost 14 weekend days to RFS and had multiple assignments due in week 13 and 1st week of exams in addition to all the effort of job searching. Still, I'm glad I found the gym. Gave me a good grounding and broke up the study. My training has been a bit shitty the last week but that's cool looking forward to getting back into it today.

I don't have much of break :( This week off then next 4 vacationers @ kpmg. Pretty excited but next sem is the hardest in my degree xD 4 actuarial units eeeeeek. Anyways how's everyone else holding up?

Did you attend all the tutorials? Sometimes if you are close to passing they take that into consideration.

For my Vacationers I seem to have a week and a half at the start of Dec, then a 3 week 'break', then a month working period in January.

Anyone know if this is actually a break or am I required to be on call during this time? I've already sent an email asking, haven't got a reply back.

Most of the big4 treat it as an actual break for Vacationers.

Hi all,

I will be starting the Bachelor of Commerce - Professional Accounting either this semester or session 1 2020. I would only be doing ECON111 if I started this semester.

Could anyone give me any insight into whether I'm better off waiting for the new subjects and degree structure in 2020 or if it won't hurt to do ECON111 this session? (i.e. could it change too much next year).

Any comments appreciated.

Thanks

ECON111 was one of my favourite units tbh. If you don't have to do econ111 you will just have to do some other mindless elective or business unit. Do you despise economics this much that you would miss out on a whole semester of study? That will make you graduate a semester later and potentially miss out on half a year's worth of salary. Just a few things to think about, even if you dislike economics.
