When NESA messages your HSC marks for extension subjects, is it out of 50 or 100? Just wondering.

How about for 3unit and 4 unit maths which technically count as 2 units each? Is it 50 or 100?

Most extension subjects are reported out of 50, because they count as 1 unit each.
For students who do Maths Extension 2, they are reported as Maths Ext1 and Maths Ext2 out of 100 each, because they count as 2 units each.

The phone message is just something like:
Subject mark band

So if you are doing a 1 unit extension subject it will just be something like:

Math Ext 1 48 E4

If you're doing maths extension 2 then as Trebla has said it counts for 2 units so it will be out of 100 in that case
