How to make an adaptable narrative? any good ideas? <3

Ctrl-c and Ctrl-v your favourite movie or whatever and find an adaptable scene. I did a book, and inside the book is whatever the stimulus was. Sometimes I changed the environment to suit the stimulus.

I have a feeling it is going to be a picture again because from 2012-2018 they stuck to stimulus. 2019 was a picture. So maybe they would do it again.

what are some good books to start with?

I meant like my character was reading a book, and I adapted whatever the stimulus was inside his book.

But generally any books or movies you know well cause you gotta remember the general structure to make it adaptable.

Hurts me everytime when I realise even English Studies scales better than standard
