70k out of undergrad in the corporate sector seems reasonable. Government sector would be lower.
Physics, computer science, maths, statistics, data science, economics, engineering could probably get these jobs if you can sufficiently demonstrate that you have the skill set to do the job. basically any degree that involves modelling and some coding, supplemented with outside prep.
In Australia, you aren't really pigeonholed by a uni degree that much, rather you just have to have a degree and demonstrate the skillset required.
