Depending on whose answers I look at, my mark for multi ranges from 16 - 19 lol. I just hope it’s the higher of the two!
Same here. Waiting for MATRIX Education to release what their answers are.

But if you cool the temperature the neutrons would be slowed as their kinetic energy will decrease which accounts for removing the material
this is exactly what i thought when i chose D! from what i studied, fission in nuclear reactors occurs with slow or 'thermal' neutrons
since temperature is a measure of the average kinetic energy of particles, my reasoning was that using the yr 11 thermodynamic equation (haha) Q/t=kA∆T/d, the greater difference in temp means greater heat transfer

someone correct me if i'm wrong

quick question: for q25 b), did we have to say how model y is the experimental data, and model x is the mathematical, which is the uv catastrophe?

I said that model x assumed that as wavelength decreases intensity increases whilst model y assumed that the energy abosrbed and emitted by a blackbody cavity is quantised

if you say two people see something moving the same distance in the same amount of time isn't that saying that they see that object moving at the same speed?
