This is what I found to be the main differences in religions, is that they have a similar view of humans being unworthy of God, this is true, we do not deserve the love of God but as unworthy as we are God's grace saved us when he sent down Jesus to die in our place for our sins. The bible teaches that all people fall short of God’s holy perfection. Romans 3:23 puts it this way: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” The sins of humanity created a debt we owe to God, and our sin created a gap we experience with God. Jesus was crucified on the cross, cancelling the debt every one of us owes to God. He is the Saviour saving us from death. But his death did something else, too, it saved us from separation with God now, and also in the life to come. God is absolutely holy and perfect, and even one sin — just one — would be enough to keep us from His presence. The Bible says of God, “Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrongdoing” (Habakkuk 1:13). Even the best person who has ever lived won’t be able to stand before God, because His standard is perfection. Through his Son we are able to enter the doorway to heaven as He alone was without sin, for He was fully God (as well as fully man). But on the cross all our sins were transferred to Him, and He took upon Himself the judgment we deserve. Now He offers us salvation as a free gift — free, because He has already paid for it.

God created us, and his omniscience means he knew the original sin would occur. So sounds like it's on him, really.

I don't feel like debating I just don't think God exists, or at least the Christian God.

Used to believe god exists because I was kinda forced to when I was younger.

Science starts at a zero point assuming that we don’t know anything about the universe and then seeks evidence and experiments to prove anything we come up with. Whereas with god there is no objective proof of it’s existence. The bible and other texts are written by humans so they aren’t evidence either.

The only strong point that there is for the existence of a god is that we can’t create something out of nothing, however many Scientific theories also suggest the Universe has existed infinitely, but just like ‘Gods’ they are theories at this stage and nothing more.

Yes, you just validated my point as to why pain is crucial.

Freedom does not guarantee happiness, so happiness.

What is life without pain?

An important point to consider. Without some form of pain, sadness or anger, how can there be happiness, joy, etc? It all seems relative. How can you be ‘happy’ if it’s all you’ve ever known? It would seem to just be the norm, and would go unappreciated.
tbh that’s why the idea of ‘heaven’ struck me as a bit weird. Still believe though, God works in mysterious ways

See life does seem highly unlikely to occur. I remember reading soo many times how when cooling down even if something almost negligible was different the universe as we know it wouldn’t have existed. With that being said it’s not an objective proof. Objective proof would be for example if God itself came down to Earth or something and spoke to all of humanity or whatever, or if someone from the dead could come back alive and bring evidence of a heaven or what not. Sure how un-probable we are to exist can suggest something external at play but suggesting is not the same as proving. There are soo many things in life that have like a 1 in millions chance of happening and still happen because that’s how probability works.

It’s kind of similar to our evolution in knowledge of a black hole.

However now we actually have a real photo of a black hole and it matches everything we calculated and observed so that’s an objective proof confirming black holes in fact do exist.
