Just wondering do you have a ball park idea what the cut off for internal marks for Econ is a B6? and upper E3/E4 for X2?

I'm pretty sure you'd need to get mid/high raw band 5's for a band 6 in Economics. No idea about English Extension 1 or 2 though, sorry.

Both matter. Higher marks help you rank higher, which is what you're looking for to do well internally.

You still rank 1st. This is where moderation comes into play.

The highest assessment mark is adjusted to equal the highest exam mark of any student in the school group.

Your ranks for English Extension 2, Economics and Software Design and Development all look pretty good. You must do your best to maintain them, particularly since your trial exams are approaching.

Improving your Mathematics Advanced rank will give you a better chance of receiving a 90 ATAR and your trial exam is a great opportunity for you to do so. If you can perform well in your 2U trial exam, you might be able to move up to about 5/24 which puts you in a much better position as the HSC exams begin.

Just checked report there are 39 in Adv english

I'll definitely try i think i can eek out 1st in econ (1st overall is on iirc 81 im on 79)
The only concern with maths i guess is that the gap between that rank is quite high we have a good top end with mid to high 90s those doing X2 etc however that is my main thing im working on this break! best i can do is try

It seems like your English Advanced rank is favourable (I remember you mentioning there are 39 people in your English Advanced cohort). Of course, it would be better to be ranked 5/39, not that 10/39 will prevent you from staying on track with your ATAR goal, but it is always good to try to rank as high as possible, which is why 5/39 would definitely be a good rank and would be consistent with your ATAR goal.
