dont have much hope in normo tbh, 200+ kids in my year applying.
ive heard from a fort st student that fs tends to take more female students and how in her year all of the new students were femalesOriginal Poster said:yeah true, very competitive. good luck tho! i reckon youll make fort
Yeah but isn't that a little unfair?Original Poster said:they said it was due to most of fort street being males, around 2/3s so they tend to prioritise females over males when entering thru years 8-11. This helps with the gender balance.

just wnated to say u talk like smo ik lmaoidk man bro my parents are sending mixed signals... they are implying i should do medicine but then they pull this shit? one of their reasons for me to stay was so i, as a 100% pureblood ching chong tm, could learn how to bootlick white people in power. unironically. i dont get it either.
it isnt too hard to maintain rank 1, the 2 'best' students excluding me who are accelerating MX1 with me have dropped their marks significantly from 95s to 70s-80s and in revision lessons they don't understand basic concepts that are basically YR10 5.3 extended a bit (eg question: what is sin(-135degrees)), but they still rank higher than the non-accelerated cohort that is doing maths with us...
they say you are like the 5 people you talk to the most o_ojust wnated to say u talk like smo ik lmao
yet theyre my worst subjectsOriginal Poster said:i asked some ppl who go fort and apparently music and english are their strongest subjects.

I currently attend Fort St and it's safe to say as a percentage of students who get B6/E4 and the whole cohort, Maths adv/ext 1 has a higher success rate (`40%) than English, which is around 25%. Same with some social sciences subjects like Modern History which also has a success rate of about 40 - 50%Original Poster said:i asked some ppl who go fort and apparently music and english are their strongest subjects.
What matters Writing CompetitionOriginal Poster said:Anyone know of essay writing comps? Since one of my stronger subjects are English
