I'm not entirely sure about question 19, but hopefully someone else can comment and provide assistance.

Question 17 appears to be correct:

John earns $350 per week + 7% sales commission. He sold $4865 worth of goods.

Question 18 appears to be incorrect:

Anna is paid $16.80 from Monday to Friday and time-and-a-half (i.e. $25.20) on Saturdays.

3.30pm to 7.30pm = 4 hours. She works the same from 3.30pm to 7.30pm from Monday to Friday, i.e. 4 hours x 5 days = 20 hours.

She works from 8.00am to 1.30pm, meaning 5.5 hours.

Question 17 (second attachment):

a) Appears to be correct:

Using

b) Appears to be incorrect:

Using

(2 decimal places)

I hope this helps! :D

Question 19 - I am not following where your answers came from, so here are my calculations:

A pat rise of $10 per week ($520 per year) would not alter his tax bracket, so he would pay 32.5c in tax per dollar on the extra income ($3.25 per week) and so his extra income per week (net) would be $6.75. However, he would also pay 2% Medicare Levy (or any extra 20c per week), so he would receive $6.55 net if the Medicare Levy is considered.
