Does anyone use anki, and if so is it helpful for subjects such as bio and chem?

Anki's great if you want to memorise anything regardless of what subject you're doing

I also like anti flashcards. It's basically everything but flashcards for studying.

Anki is great! I have a World of Words deck I add to whenever I come across a word I don't know and it's helped a lot with my vocabulary (which is still underwhelming make no mistake -_-)

Not gonna lie I've been lazy because I don't really use anki or flashcards as much but I've just forced myself to recollect random stuff when I'm caught off guard. So sometimes I would ask myself to list all the drivers of globalisation or something like that. Thats just on me though, not advocating for being lazy. Will get back to using anki for sure.

Spaced repetition is a learning approach where lessons are retaken at increasing intervals until knowledge is fully embedded in long-term memory. Below is an example:


In this example, correctly answered cards are advanced to the next, less frequent box, while incorrectly answered cards return to the first box for more aggressive review and repetition.

Yup you can get a spaced repetition heatmap addon that's really good for this. I've been using it to memorise my geo notes.
