am i the only that found it extremely hard... like the most difficult maths exam ever and i do extension

Guys, what do you think the scaling will be like?

If we compare to the last major syllabus change in 2012, the second year for that, the exam for maths, 2013, was really hard, and had a 75 as a band 6.
Last year (2020) about a 82 was a band 6.

But if we look to other subjects, for example chemistry, the syllabus change in 2019.
2019 pre easy exam, 83 was a B6
2020 was crazy hard, and a 80 was a B6 (give or take)

So will it even scale that much better?
Or like by only 2 marks or so, because i defo did not score 2 marks less, more like 5 at least, compared to last years paper lol

I'M SCARED AS SHIT LMFAOO (it's okay we can pray they were all bounded questions and not sole integration)
yes same i was so pumped for 2u

and then half way though either by brain stopped functioning or the paper was cranking up

From what I can tell, it seems like a lot of people really struggled with the maths exams (god knows how extension is going atm), so getting a bad mark would be relatively normal. It’d probably still hurt your atar a bit, but the fact that a lot of people struggled will definitely dampen the effect.
