Same, except not a fan of slope fields lol even though they are ez marks, they still just hurt my eyes.
that and identifying types of differential equations i dont like tho. i really cant tell the difference between linear and non-linear DEs

Hmmm, i feel after this years x2 paper, its gonna be something pretty similar to what happened in 2020. As in like, x1 arguably 'harder' than x2 and there being an almost exponential increase in difficulty from the 'easy' marks to question 13 and 14.

i really hope thats not the case. i think this year x1 will be the same difficulty as the last (which wasnt the hardest thing except for the combinatorics q maybe) but since x2's difficulty exponentiated 10 fold compared to last year, it wont be as hard, unless nesa wants to be sus and do us dirty by asking us stuff on continuous and discrete distributions which i havent touched

Ahaha idk, all jokes aside, i personally dont think that x2 was that much worse than last years. Someone on here already said that there were plenty of easy marks to be gained. Either way though, if ext 1 was as hard as last years then its still looking alright

youre scaring me with this sentence haha. sure there were free marks but they were a smaller portion of the paper compared to last year. last year basically everything up to 16a was free, meanwhile this year there were plenty more hard ones.

this year id say free marks was from 11 to end of 14. mind you i didnt get full marks for this section because of silly mistakes. it only stated amping up a 15, where a and d were the only hard ones. 15 b and c were so easy. question 16 was quite difficult. a not so bad, but b and c were tough for me personally.

From what I could see with maths papers I imagine the questions would require multiple parts from a topic. So it is best recommended to envision a Q you are doing and combine it with other sub-topics from the topic.

That's probably one of the only comments I've seen which had said this year's 4U exam wasn't too bad ... the rest of the comments I've read have said it was so much worse than last year
