How do you remember the right quotes in the reading comprehension 10 minute reading time?

Remember that reading time is strictly for reading time, so highlighting or having anything else in your hands apart from the exam booklet isn't prohibited. There are a few ways you could use:

  • Remember the initial word or a key word in the quote which can trigger your memory
  • What some people might do is use their nails to make an 'indent' in the page; however, this may be very ineffective and can look a bit suspicious to markers

Do you get in trouble if you are caught doing it or if the markers see the indents? Surely nothing right?

I'm not too sure, but it's at the discrepancy of the invigilators how they want to react to it. It may be wise to maybe ask them beforehand if it's fine, so they are aware if you want to, but most likely, it shouldn't result in trouble, as you are technically abiding by the rules of 'reading' time.
