I've been told by my teacher that it is:

5!*5!=14400

but I'm not sure how this is the case? Since it is a circle, shouldn't it be (n-1)!=(5-1)!*5! ?

You take the 5 guys as 1 person (since theyre sitting together) and the 5 girls are one person. We place these two 'people' in a circle which is (2-1)!. And then the 5 boys can rearrange themselves in 5! ways and the 5 girls can rearrange in 5! ways. Giving a total of 1!5!5!
