arent bananas produced by cloning?
Yeah but there was some disease that happened with them (I'm not too sure - we learnt about them recently for Mod 7 and I guess I thought it applies for artificial pollination but idrk)

Why yes please
"wheat hybrids were created in Australia in the 1870's by William Farrer. 'Purple Straw' variety was crossed with an Indian wheat variety, 'Yandilla', to create a new variety called 'Federation Wheat'. This new variety had increased disease resistance (from the indian variety) and was more tolerant of Australian climatic conditions (from the purple straw)"

no thats not artificial pollination thats transgenic species
i don't think the syllabus asks u to give examples when analysing the effectiveness of artificial pollination in specificity tho, they might just ask abt the effectiveness of genetic manipulation in plants and u can talk abt other things instead (eg gene cloning etc)
