How badly did you flop and how are the rest of your internals looking? From what I understand internals really only give you a rank for HSC marks, but there's a factor to getting good marks regardless...

yeah you can but ideally don't flop the trials obviously. I flopped maths advanced trial last year and then got 96 in the hsc exam but got dragged down because of bad trial performance

hey idk how much this helps but for AT2 mx1 last year I got 47% (in an internal ofc)... it was weighted 20% and I managed to pick up my marks later in the year to get a band 6 all up in the end (my internal mark was 44/50 in the end, after all the voodoo nesa does behind the scenes).

I know you may not have the same scenario rn with this being trials, and your past exams in the past (also school and ranks being a factor but idrk about how those work tbh)... BUT there is still a very likely chance that if you pick up your marks in externals and really smash the finals out you will still be fine

yeah failed the trial completely didn't even study for it or know it was on until the week before after I got that result back I've been grinding ever since
