Well I mean it was suppose to be updated (I hope/think) but NESA never got around to doing that.

and now they're scrapping it for software engineering --feeling bad for the kids who do it next year w/o any resources

Oh I didn't realise - so IDeA is just like an accelerated (ish) course with more opportunities vs Co-op being an actual scholarship??

Also I didn't know this but IDeA program has expanded and now includes cyber sec so I guess IDeA is becoming a cadetship program with multiple courses.

thats the thing ideally u wouldnt want to check for dumb mistakes and not make them in the first place- so if u do its like ur sacrificing marks just for a chance to find mistakes

but i made a bet with my deputy that if I do well in my sor hsc exam this year, i can count it towards my 14 units (cause doing language outside of school u have to do 14 units for first term), so I'm hoping I don't do software engineering now HAHAHHAA
