Hey guys my internal ranking are out and i will be sitting my hsc next month. i am quite worried i won’t get 65 or more atar with there internal. If i manage to ace my hsc will i still have a ok atar?

Pdhpe- 30/41
Standard English - 76/87
Bio- 41/44

whats ur school ranking and how many band 6's for each of ur subjects last yr

Ok look i know a guy who got a very low atar of 42.7, that went to my school which is ranked 65 in nsw.


If you think you can achieve at least band 3 in all of your subjects + maybe a band 4 in one subject, then ill be very confident youll reach your atar goal, even with your internal ranking considered. Even if you dont, there are always other pathways, which though may be more inconvient, theyll help you to reach your goal in the end. Even for my old schoolmate here, he ended up taking the macquarie uni undergrad cert pathway which only requires an atar of 40. Though ill be more concerned about surviving your uni courses more than the process of getting in, if i were in your position
