ok so i have my english prelim on thursday, i memorised my essay right, and apparently the question is going to be different on the day, so am i supposed to be memorising the quotes + analysis as well?? like not just my essay, i need quotes, analysations and stuff. plus the prelim is like 1.5hrs and its jus short answer questions and the big fat essay

u should definitely be knowing ur quotes bc what are u gonna be analysing in the exam then

it’s up to you whether to memorise quotes + analysis or essay, personally I memorise essays but it has to be a super refined and high quality essay (otherwise there’s no point), and you have to know how to mould it to the question - you have to be able to make every para actually answer the q and just include the question words a ton

you dont need to memorise i did all my trials without memorising a single essay (didn't have time okay) and still did well
but im def gonna be memorising for hsc
