Hi, can I please ask if you have a good comparison of the average ATAR of the JR, Baulko and NSG. Also want to know the possible ATAR of someone from JR whose rank is say 40th out of 150 kids? Thanks

idk about averages but for medians
ruse median is generally 99 ish (so 40th out of 150 would probably be like ~99.5+? idk )
baulko median i think would be around 97 (basing it off how 63% got over 96 atar last year)
nsg is probably around 95-97 asw

edit:
top 20-30% of nsg/baulko gets 99+, top 10 at baulko is ~99.8+

Thanks, so a girl from NSG (if her rank is 20th) she will get the same ATAR if she moves to Baulko or JR? Understand her rank may fall in JR and Baulko, but will the ATAR be still the same?

I thought 30th or 40th student at JR should get ATAR at least 99.60+

Thanks again

hmm idk i feel like the main thing that could affect the student is getting adjusted to different marking standards. because each school has different marking standards generally and "do this, avoid that" kinda things, but it depends on how early/late you transfer to the school

idk about 30th/40th overall unfortunately

Again thanks, I think if can be transferred for Year 9 intake, then it is okay, but anything after that I agree that may have adverse effects. It all depends on the individual kids and what they want to achieve, I think a student coming from lower ranking school may be benefited by transferring to top 10 selective even in Year 11

it really depends on how conscientious the student is but generally if they can make it in then yeah it will help
