do u call urself tikkamasalawarrior in real life not even being Indian? at least I'm black brother
why would i call myself tikkamasalawarrior in real life?

you're black? hmm. there's 0 black people in investment banking. like literally 0. so assuming your cousin is also black, you are definitely lying...

(assuming your cousin lives in Australia)

What degree would u suggest then? Because with BCom I was planning on majoring in math and financial stat. So if that’s wouldn’t give be a decent shot idk what will
Pick whatever degree you want, none will give you ‘an advantage’ tbh. Actuary is alright because it’s a hard degree + has high entry reqs. As said finance/accounting
I am also interested in IB and I was looking at actuary/law but then I don't understand why law is useful for IB over Bcom?
Actuary/Law as a double I wouldn’t do, with commerce and one of them I would do. Also compsci is a decent option, or AdvStudies at Usyd for reasons @idkkdi said.

law (at usyd) was the gold standard because of its high entry reqs, but also law in general because of the classes you’ll do relating to negotiations and M&A - very helpful.

Missing out on that cadet ship isn’t so bad. I would first try and consider why you want to do investment banking and don’t say money or it sounds cool. Why IB and not Wealth/Asset Management or FP&A?
