Hi there,

I applied for Business/Law at UTS for Early Entry.

My marks are
Legal Studies: A
Modern History: A
English Advanced: B
Studies of Religion II: B
Maths Advanced: B

I was wondering do these marks make competitive?

Also do other factors such as school/area where you live play any role in deciding Early Entry

that'll definitely get you a conditional offer. iirc the condition is an atar of at least 69
some early entry categories for some unis take into account the socioeconomic status of where your school is / where you live (eg. unsw's gateway is an early offer with a conditional atar req lower than what is usually expected for students going to low SEA schools or live in low SEA areas) but for general ones like uts i'm pretty sure they don't

My grades were


Currently overall mark; English advanced - B
English Extension - B
CAFS - B
Legal Studies - B
Enterprise Computing -B
Business studies - B
Math Adv - D but dropping

the math adv mark might be a little concerning (if you completed math adv prelims, then the math advanced mark will show on your transcript) but i do think you'll still get one anyway. i knew a few people with more C's and D's in their report but ended up with early offers
