URGENT!! Regarding Maths Choices for HSC (1 Viewer)

hi guys so i recently joined a private school this term and they put me in the highest math group cos i came from a selective school but its way too easy so they r offering me to be in accelerated class. idk how the accelerated class runs here but i want to do ext 2 math in yr 12 (ext 1 chosen but ykwim)...and in this school i cannot choose ext 2 if im not in th accelerated class.
they also have their prelims in a few weeks so like idk cause i dont wanna risk not having enogh study time..
so if i dont accept the offer i can only take ext 1.
thoughts guys? should i go for it? im just worried cos i only joind this term, meaning they have done 2 terms of work. i havetn, and i need time to catch up

Cant u repeat ext 1 if ur not satisfied with ur mark that u got when u acceled it? If u can, defs go in the accel class

honestly im not sure, im mailny worried about the prelims. do u think i can study two terms worth of work in 4 weeks?

Idk maybe if you grind - how many topics is 2 terms worth? Cos school goes relatively slow lol

honeslty im not sure, but i know two topics in the exam which i have not studied include calculus and probability ( i did basic probability in yr 8)

Ask then - and also ask if u can repeat bcus u should be able to if u r acceled and not satisfied with ur mark

why are they offering it 4 weeks out from prelims? That puts you at a huge disadvantage. I'd be realistic and say no, you shouldn't.
