After year 11 do I ever need use perms and combs after that?? coz I dont see it anywhere in the year 12 3u and 4u content. Is it worth continually practicing or should I just let it go. idk if this topic is assumed knowledge after year 11 so I want to know

Pretty sure there's binomial stuff in mx1 which uses combs, you shouldn't need it for mx2 unless nesa cooks up a crazy q16

yr11 content is directly assessed in the HSC so yes, it is worth staying well acquainted with combinatorics
