No perms and combs for prelims yayyyy (1 Viewer)

Hiii. For our extension 1 prelims there is no perms and combs which is a biggg relief coz I suck at it so bad . Now that it isn't in prelims should I really put effort into learning it?? coz I already know that year 11 is prerequisite and assumed knowledge for year 12 but I dont think perms and combs pops up again in year 12? Meaning it wont really get tested in year 12? Btw im doing 4u and right now I feel like letting go perms and combs as in not practicing on it anymore. Should I continue or is it not really a big focus in year 12 and it wont really come up again in exams?!?

hey you're totally wrong. in y12 internal tasks including trials and even the actual hsc, they will always test y11 content so you definetely cannot go around skipping it. for 3u i know for a fact they like assessing perms and combs in trials bc a lot of students struggle at it, especially in internal assessments.

if its not in your prelims don't study for it now but you should def revise it before doing your y12 tasks. also remember to never skip content or forget it entirely for maths bc all of y11 and y12 is assessable in the hsc. also prelim 3u is the stepping stone for 4u so you should be confident with prelim 3u to do 4u in the first place
