is it true that y11 is harder than y12 ?
yr 12 by a milestone for maths lmao. Idk if it was my school or if its just me but I was ranking top 3 with averages in the mid 90s and once I started yr 12 e1 maths, fell so fucking hard its not even funny lmao. Good reminder for everyone tho LOCK THE FUCK IN 💪💪👍👍

no. yr11 can be a hit harder in some aspects, youre doing more subjects and you have no frees so it can be harder to do well across all your subjects. you also are being introduced to how hsc works for the first time and the exam structures and such. year 12 is harder though. if you mess up any assessments its a hit to your atar. you really have to be on the ball the entire year. you cant really take breaks as you did in yr11, a lot of people have their last actual break in the summer holidays then just study all throughout their other school holidays. the pressure is a lot more than yr11

yr12 can feel not as hard though if youre someone who started studying during yr11 since you can carry on that routine into yr12, where as some people can struggle a lot when they realize they need to study in yr12 because its just hard to get into at first.

its less abt the content and more abt my crippling anxiety. like i dont know how to cope with stress very well
do you mean a diagnosed anxiety disorder or general stress when you say crippling anxiety? if you have an anxiety disorder and youre stressing a lot its good to have a checkup with your pysch and express that, they may suggest medication or just things you can do to cope better in your daily life. if you dont have one its still a good idea to see a professional about managing stress if its causing 'crippling' anxiety.

i think you should establish a routine but not actually study. you should try identify what time you would start studying each day when youre back at school. then i think everyday at that time youve chosen to start studying you should just sit at your desk and do something somewhat productive. you could read a book, draw, do crafts, etc. that way youre starting to get into the routine of study, but youre still taking a break.

not diagnosed but ive been directed to seek professional help by peers and the school counsellor. for me the issue is some days i will feel okay and some days is it horrific and i feel confused about whether its bad enough to seek a psychologist. also i dont know how to express how bad it can get bc i seem fine on the outside and im also doing well socially and academically and ppl don't believe it when i tell them. thats why i vent to strangers on the internet instead lol
