normo's 16b was in girraween's 2001, but also their 14di was in the 1926 leaving certificate and here is an alternative solution using a hypergeometric function somewhat more efficient than de Moivre's theorem:

i did an alternative solution to the sydney grammar 2024 Q14a ext. 2 in 1 line bro

using magnitude of scalar triple product ÷ length of cross product
