How many words in a Modern History essay (1 Viewer)

How many words should I aim to do in the exam per essay (also how many words in each paragraph do you guys aim for).

i would say around 1000, for words in para probs like 250 each if I'm doing 3 paras, and maybe 350-400 if I'm doing 2???? idk lowk i don't really think ab para word counts, so take that with a grain of salt

I'm just sorta confused because a lot of people are saying 800-1000 words, but I got a 92/100 for an essay assessment in Term 1 and only wrote 750 words. So I'm not sure if my teacher marked me generously or at least 750 words is enough for an essay

I got full marks for my essays and I often wrote around 1100-1200 words. So that would be around 300-350 words per body paragraph, but ~1000 words (270-300 words per paragraph) should be sufficient. My teacher always aim for more than 1000 because that gives you a lot of space to include literally everything. I will say though I put historiography and full-fledged examples in every paragraph which isn't needed

I'll probably aim for 1000 words, I'm a pretty slow writer so I doubt I'd be able to write any more than that.

Also thank you SOOOOOOO much for your Core and Russia notes, they've literally saved me for Modern study. They are AMAZING
