i might make this a separate forum but i need to start thinking about related texts to 1984 if anyone has any recommendations please send them to me thanks & i would love ur opinion on it so far i am enjoying it (maybe its because i have low comprehension) pls lmk xx

idk i just did othello bc i did it in yr 11 and slightly adapted my paragraph from yr11 - make life easier and dont learn a new text for it because you only need it for the assessment

i did/do enjoy modern history, i just didnt enjoy having to memorise 100 syllabus dot points for a 3 hr exam lol SOOO MUCH CONTENT

ugh that is not good i feel like my understanding is becoming shallower by the day and i want some idk magical synapse fusing brain things to happen so i have better memory but its just how much you're willing to commit to it ig grrr

Dulce Et Decorum Est is the best related text imo cuz they are both about war and its easy to integrate, btw you can go as off topic as you want its a lifestyle and interests thread lol

guys if im supposed to related it to the poem how is this relevant im trying to think which part was the most war like most action motivated driven patriotic maybe im getting it wrong hmm or am i supposed ugh UGH i want lunch to come right now

edit: ok i finally have something productive to add i remember the Dulce et Decorum Est by Wilfred Owen and The Soldier by Rupert Brooke which I suppose will be the pool to choose from after further evaluation

now im getting alittle conflicted on poems cause idk if the teacher will think they're too short or whatever but ill ask on monday im once again thinking about how i used the word amphibiously so someone needs to lock suffixes from me or i just need more critical thinking skills also i know its vastly rhetorical here but does anyone want to explain why poultry or bird meat would turn blue

ok its like mildly grisly but last holidays i went somewhere coastal and of course there were a lot of ibis gulls and pelican but then there was this like sorry very unfortunately deceased bird under a tree and it was really strange because it was blue like the whole thing was blue maybe someone dyed it and it looked a lot the chicken but i cant think of any reason why it would be blue and gone from the neck up and left in a public place it was really strange i could not believe my eyes i mean its probably nothing and maybe it was just cold and fell out of a tree i did try googling it and some sort of variation on why meat would turn blue but it just kept bringing up iridescence in animal product which is not the same

Bird meat can be blue or yellow depending on the breed, so its normal for the meat to be blue lol, depends on the breed/age and stuff its normal

this is making me sad because one time i saw those native Australian solitary blue bees they were kinda cool and blue and metallic and i smacked it because it thought it was a fly it lives with me forever im so sorry also one time i saw this. fake fly bee and it made me angry because i hate flies i should clarify its a hoverfly and not a fly bee (ididnt know that was a thing theyrekinda cute actually) but theyre also pollinators so ill tolerate it but i dont appreciate being deceived HElP this is like yes ur adaptations are working but mould flies and roaches make me so irrationally mad i hate mould so much my enemy

i hate mould...i hate it but its kinda cool but not when you can see it or smell it or. know its there i can now accurately describe what mould and decomposition smells like from three separate occasions and it really doesnt help that the failed wet palette on my desk is cultivating 2 different kinds of mould my enemy you make oranges blue

also mould is like spores and spores is like 2008 life simulation real-time strategy god game HAHAHA i mean mushrooms and in primary camp i saw one of those devil fingers stinkhorn things and i hate that too its giving me flashbacks to those top 10 scariest fungi or yap yap yap videos i kinda miss them

i also forgot that i had progression pictures to this local shroom colony growing in the grass like maybe 2 months ago before someone kicked it down it was quite cool and bonus mystery fuzzy purple one yayyy

so ill be for real it was the stove light like the one built in the is it called hood i jsut googled it really quickly but i just raised it up there and took it in portrait mode and it heightened the contrast/focus a lot ok bye imm going to eat cake
