i just started year 12 and its starting to hit me for some reason and im stressing so badly because i dont know what i wanna be in the future - like everybody at school knows what they wanna be and im worried because my biggest fear is deadass being broke - someone pls tell me that im not alone or if anyone has experienced this before HELP

just research everything you are interested in very thoroughly.

I’m finishing first year uni and still don’t know what I wanna do it’s chill we’ll figure it out

Look at subjects u do -> do u like them -> is there a career in that area u like -> is that career viable for u eg. salary, location.

Example (ME):
look at subjects i did ->legal, bio, biz, hospo, eng -> legal: lawyer, -> pay is good,

U don't have to be absolutely set on it, u don't have to have that eureka moment where go like 'that is what i want to do for the rest of my life'
Just find stuff u like

yeah exactly and no one actually expects you to have everything figured out by year 12, it just seems like that
you've always got time to change stuff around even after school is over

law is over saturated only place you have a chance is unsw usyd, everywhere else you will get like 90k a year with experience

it is so difficult, like i feel like i've wanted to be in media/writing/journalist for years, now i also really like law, but i know i can and may still change my mind - so can you! nothing is set in stone, and honestly term 1 year 12 actually term 4 year 11, was a wreck for me i didnt really like my subjects as much anymore, it was a jump in work, everything was off. but if you try to take it a step at a time, be disciplined, work hard, youll end up ok. best of luck, if you are specifically worried about subjects theres plenty of people on BOS to help you
