Wdym bus drivers get 200k and plus the number of kids Doesnt affect how much u make. It’s so easy to make 200k as parents in Sydney tho idk Whatd so surprising. Plus u got Centrelink u literally can’t be poor in this countrythis is fucking crazy
fr isn't 100k like minimum wage, times that by two working parents u already got 200k?200k/year is considered poor in Sydney mate
minimum wage is $24.10 an hour or $915.90 a week.fr isn't 100k like minimum wage, times that by two working parents u already got 200k?
surely no one actually makes that little especially if they are supporting a familyminimum wage is $24.10 an hour or $915.90 a week.
i don't think that is right. they wouldn't be able to afford anything in this economy especially, u must be mistaken.minimum wage is $24.10 an hour or $915.90 a week.
search it upi don't think that is right. they wouldn't be able to afford anything in this economy especially, u must be mistaken.
depends on their job, but since the person before me stated that min. wage was 100k, im talking abt minimum wage, not a person supporting their family.surely no one actually makes that little especially if they are supporting a family
damn it still seems like the data may be outdated, i swear i heard a stat that if u made a 100k per year, u only had like $200-300 to spend on urself like each week which seems like nothing if u think abt it.search it up
brudda they js implemented the new minimum wage in 2024.damn it still seems like the data may be outdated, i swear i heard a stat that if u made a 100k per year, u only had like $200-300 to spend on urself like each week which seems like nothing if u think abt it.
oh sorry, maybe i mixed up median and average salary for minimum wage, i guess the stats bit in math adv didn't rub off on me.From recent data, the median annual salary in Australia is about $65k whereas the average annual salary is about $98k (so obviously skewed by outlier high income earners). This is all before income tax and across all age groups (i.e. including experienced workers).
For reference, for a typical graduate job (out of university) the annual salary is roughly $60k-$70k.
It's a pretty well known societal issue that someone with a median annual salary would struggle to afford a house at the median price.
no way that's real man how is half the population fiending on less than 65kFrom recent data, the median annual salary in Australia is about $65k whereas the average annual salary is about $98k (so obviously skewed by outlier high income earners).
