For unsw law u prolly need to sit the LAT since its not an IPT. Might be wrong though. I assume UTS and USYD have the same or similar requirements. U js need to maintain a really high GPA for ur first semester or year (I forgot how long) to apply for a transfer. Ik a friend that did maq law and transferred to USYD law. She got a HD on everything in maq I'm pre sure.

do u know by any chance what your friends lat score was? also did transferring add any extra time to her degree?

She didn't do the LAT since she applied for USYD law. LAT is only a UNSW thing and only UNSW uses LAT results. I'm pretty sure transferring didn't add any extra time to her degree since she was already studying law. Assuming you want to transfer from WSU law to USYD or UTS law, if your already in your first year of WSU law and apply for the transfer, you'll prolly transfer into USYD or UTS in the second year- so essentially no repeats. It might be different if u transfer into unsw cos of the trimesters and LAT, or if your transferring from a non-law degree. Keep in mind that the curriculum for law is the same in all uni's. It's js the resources available and teaching styles that differ.
