Hi all,
I am considering in applying for Normanhurst boys high school (selective Transfer Year 8 to Year 9) in 2024. I have a few questions about the test.

(1) Type of test: HAST or Edutest ?
(2) Literacy test: multiple choice questions or short answer questions?
(3) Any writing test? type of test?
(4) Any other experience to share?

Did this in 2023 for yr 11 entry, if they still do it the same theres 2 exams, one mathematics, which was pretty standard although i feel like there was a tiny bit of yr 11 content in there, and the other english, which in one exam is reading comprehension/short answer and writing (in the same period of time) (i cant remember if there was multi) so you gotta allocate enough time to get through short answer and writing. It was a creative/imaginative prompt (like write about seeing a place from a postcard irl for the first time i think).
